Today was my first of a two-day workshop with Jane Nicholas working on this project...
This piece is copyrighted, designed and stitched by Jane Nicholas....not me!
I have a lot of homework to do...

gorgeous!!!
Oh, you lucky, lucky girl!!!
Oh! Pretty! Can't wait to see the results!
Simply beautiful stitching. Happy class tomorrow...
Ok, I love Jane! I took classes with her back in the 1990's. Where are you taking these calsses?
I recognize most of the stitches used in this lovely piece but do hope you'll tell us about the stitch used for the dragonfly body -it's most interesting. Stumpwork dragonflies are so often done in beads but I like this one because its stitched.
Besutiful
wow, you got a lot done in one day ;-)
Seriously, can't wait to hear all about your class. I so wish I could be there with you.
Very unique!
oh WOW! This is incredible - how on earth is it done??
Wow, looks great. Love the stump work...never tried my hand at it, but it is always in my to do list.
Absolutly Fabulous!

We are certainly on the same page...I am taking a class from Jane this Sat and Sun in Natick MA. Looking forward to meeting you in November
WOW, did you do this? This is stunning in it's simplicity and intricacy at the same time. Have fun!
Gorgeous - really looking forward to seeing the next posts about this!
How beautiful in these classic colors. Wonderful work and what a treat to be able to take her class not once but twice.

Lucky you I think if you have the best tutors then you are able to produce the best work. They have such a way of showing how that gives the best results...
and Jane Nichols is certainly one of the best.
This looks FABULOUS!
And Susan, has anyone ever told you that perhaps you were born into the wrong century? You are so drawn to these *ancient arts*.... I am looking forward to learning about yet another one through you :>}}
I LOVE stumpwork! Lucky you! I can't wait to see your results, I'm sure, like everything you do, it will be absolutely wonderful!
