I recognize most of the stitches used in this lovely piece but do hope you'll tell us about the stitch used for the dragonfly body -it's most interesting. Stumpwork dragonflies are so often done in beads but I like this one because its stitched.
Lucky you I think if you have the best tutors then you are able to produce the best work. They have such a way of showing how that gives the best results... and Jane Nichols is certainly one of the best.
And Susan, has anyone ever told you that perhaps you were born into the wrong century? You are so drawn to these *ancient arts*.... I am looking forward to learning about yet another one through you :>}}
