I love the texture of your materials and can't wait to see what you do with it ! Your stitching is so inspiring !
Waiting to see this develope into a beautiful piece.
you will come up with a way to show those fabrics to their fullest, though i am sure they will take second stage to all the actors waiting in the wings for their chance.
Ah, it's in my mind's eye. I wonder if a high wattage bulb would have helped?
Susan I am sorry you are not feeling well. I just backed up and read your last post also and really enjoy the January reflecting. Your stitched base will be a wonderful canvas for your beautiful stitching and details. You are correct the photo does not show the richness of the fabrics but I can imagine them as I love velvet, silk, damask, jaquard and so many fine fabrics.Healing Hugs Dear...
The material looks perfect for the addition of aged silver. It has such a delicious patina, don't you think so?
I am so excited to see this new piece come to life.Teresa's Heartfelt Stitches
Looking forward to seeing this grow. Maybe a light from the side would help show up the texture and shine?
I like the subdues colours. They are going to be the perfect backdrop for all the sparkles in your collection box. The silver lace is wonderful.
I'm imagining...it is beautiful. Hope you are feeling better now Susan.
It looks lovely! Not flat at all!
Yes I am imagining and it is beautiful!Deb
Oh I am getting so excited to watch this piece come together. I so loved the Tiffany piece and I expect this one will be just as WONDERFUL. Hugs and have fun.
Oh I can imagine it! Love the section that looks bluish-grey...is it velvet?
You had me at Silver lace ... pretty.
Beautiful block! I cannot wait to see how this block develops under your artistic hands. I love the colors you have chosen. reminds me of diamonds, icicles and cold winter nights.
Doesn't look flat to me; I especially like the polka dot piece. At any rate, your magic needle and a few embellishments will work wonders with this already very pretty block!
Toujours un vrai plaisir de visiter tes pages ! A bientôt. Bisous
Nice piecing! Lovely materials too...I think you will be as inspired by Valentino as by January..what a wonderful combination!
