Motif Swap Roundup

As part of the CQ Adventure in CT, 33 of us participated in a handmade motif swap and here's a picture of all the booty...

It's fun to see them all together...all different.

There were hand-painted motifs, crocheted motifs and ribbonwork...

Hand-dyed laces and beaded motifs...

Tatting, and embroidery...

Hand-beaded buttons...

And hand-painted buttons...

It was a very talented group of swappers and I'm delighted to have a piece of their handiwork now living in my stash.

Happy Day everyone!

Wow, what a collection. Everybody must have worked really hard putting together 33 motifs and every single one is beautiful.

Hi CA -- not everyone swapped with all 33 people. There were only 7 of us who swapped with everyone. There were others that swapped in groups of 10 or groups of 20.

I would find a picture frame, tack a piece of fabric to the glass area, pin all those treasures on, stretch a piece of saran wrap over the whole shebang and hang it on the wall. [the s.w. is to keep the dust off] Then you can gaze fondly upon them whenever you wish.
