An Adventure in Crazy Quilting 2012!

Maureen Greeson has done it! She's decided to host a Second Adventure in Crazy Quilting next April 2012 in Connecticut!

She has taken all of the feedback from the first Adventure, put it through her fabulously talented administrative brain...and churned out an amazing lineup of teachers to tempt us!

This time around, Maureen has expanded the class offerings by engaging 7 teachers over 5 days giving you a choice of teachers for each day...and, you can pay by the day! In addition to CQ specific teachers such as Pat Winter, Sharon Boggon and Betty Pillsbury... There's the addition of Beaded CQ with Nancy Eha; Beaded Flowers with Diane Fitzgerald; Ribbonwork by Helen Gibb and, Tambour Beading and Embroidery with Shirlee Fassell!!

Holy Smokes! It's all too much -I'm hyperventilating just thinking about it!

Festivities will include a lecture or two, evening stitch-ins, and a new and improved Boutique...and, knowing Maureen, we're in for some additional pampering because she just can't help herself.

So Save the DATE! April 12-16, 2012!

I saved my pennies all year long for the 2011 event and I'm glad I did...I needed them!

You can read all about the event and download the .pdf for Event Information and Registration here. There, you'll be able to read all about the teachers and their experience.

I met so many new friends in 2011 that I hope to see again in 2012...

And I hope that there are some who couldn't make the first one who will be able to make it next year.

I'll be returning as Mistress of Ceremonies (aka General Troublemaker).

In case you missed them, you can read all my posts related to the 2011 Adventure here.

Happy Day Everyone!

P.S. There were SO many wonderful comments on my post last Friday, Too Much to Think. So much great food for thought -- you are one, wise group of blogging friends.

I'm hoping to email you all back (if I have your address...) -- Give me a few days...we went away for the holiday and I'm still catching up!

If only I quilted! The Adventure will be in my neck of the woods, CT! I may just have to check it out and start a new craft, LOL. :)

I love your blog, and your practice post was amazing! I am awed by both your practice and your goal. I can't wait to see how it all progresses, high five to you, and to your sweet family and their really cool support and love for you.

You are so blessed.
Hugs

I've wanted to try crazy quilting for a while, because it looks like it could be a lot of fun and make some interesting colour interactions.

Love, love, love Nancy Eha. Took a class from her in 2002 and it started me down the crazy beading path.
