A group of us got together the other day to make a few of these beaded trees...
They're actually brooches and built around a pin back...but it doesn't have to be.
My friend Maureen is making one to put on a crazy quilt Christmas stocking that she's making...
The pattern is a free download on the Bead and Button website if you are a registered member on their website.
They're really sweet and only take a couple of hours to make. We did make a few modifications to the original pattern...instead of making all those little rings of tiny "ornaments" which take forever, we just used size 6 degree seed beads placed randomly on the wire instead.
I also drafted a "cheat sheet" that we used to help speed up the process...I'm happy to email it to you if you plan to make some for yourself.
Have a great day!

Dear Susan,
You have some talented friends!!! Did I tell you that I tried to make a beaded flower about a month ago? It was so sad that I figured I should stick to the stuff I do best. But I so admire your handwork and just cannot help but love all that you do.
