Class in Session

Hi everyone.

Today was my first of a two-day workshop with Jane Nicholas working on this project...

This piece is copyrighted, designed and stitched by Jane Nicholas....not me!

She's a delight. I promise pictures and highlights after class tomorrow.

I have a lot of homework to do...

Ok, I love Jane! I took classes with her back in the 1990's. Where are you taking these calsses?

I recognize most of the stitches used in this lovely piece but do hope you'll tell us about the stitch used for the dragonfly body -it's most interesting. Stumpwork dragonflies are so often done in beads but I like this one because its stitched.

How beautiful in these classic colors. Wonderful work and what a treat to be able to take her class not once but twice.

Lucky you I think if you have the best tutors then you are able to produce the best work. They have such a way of showing how that gives the best results...
and Jane Nichols is certainly one of the best.

This looks FABULOUS!

And Susan, has anyone ever told you that perhaps you were born into the wrong century? You are so drawn to these *ancient arts*.... I am looking forward to learning about yet another one through you :>}}
