Dressing the Fourth

Every year my family creates part of their outfit to wear for the Fourth of July.

We hadn't made shirts for a few years and many of the kids had outgrown them. So this year, we made shirts again.

And wore them proudly to the party...

Tomorrow, I'll tell you about the kids' boat trip to the lemonade stand across the canal...

I love the pictures!!

Their faces are so intense.

Their minds are set to make their personal design perfect.

I love it that they are into it.

You have a very unusual family.

What a great tradition! How did it start? How long has it been going on? The kids will have great memories and a fun toolbox of ideas to carry on to the future.

Fabulous. I remember the hats and shorts of previous years. It looks like everyone still enjoys this activity as much as ever. I can see that their creativity is really developing (and no wonder with you to guide them). Bravo, Susan
