Bead Journal Project Completed -- December

If Worries Were Wishes

If worries were wishes,
I'd blow them away
On a wing and a prayer
On a blustery day.

If worries were wishes,
I'd climb up a mountain,
And toss them like pennies
Into a fountain.

If worries were wishes,
I'd feel so much lighter.
I'd get much more sleep
And my days would be brighter.

If worries were wishes,
I'd wish on a star
And send all those worries
To planets afar.

If worries were wishes,
I'd just close my eyes
And blow out those candles
And say my goodbyes.

Goodbye all you worries,
You're making me blue
And the lines on my face
Are all 'cause of you.

Goodbye to Anxiety
And Goodbye to Woe.
You really don't help me.
I've just told you so.

And so, with my wand,
I've sent them away.
My worries are wishes
As of today.

My wishes are Wonder,
They're Strong and they're Bold.
They're Hope and Delight,
A Joy to behold.

See, I really believe
That wishes come true.
And worries are worthless
For me and for you.

Oh man, I just love every ting about this piece, and the poem.. I really hope it helps you worry less, it just does not help. I have been learning to allow 5 minutes to worry about whatever Im worried about and then I have to throw it into the fountain. It helps if I let it. Beautiful piece. Julie C

True, true, so very true!!! As Allie already commented, the whole package of this post in it's simplicity and beauty is about as wonderful as a post can get... repeating the photos in various angles and detail between verses of your poem is a joy to view. And, besides that, Shakespeare, how DID you get the color to match in each of the pictures (that isn't easy!)? I love the poem and more than anything else, I love the beading... everything about it! Another awesome piece!!!! Robin A.

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of work. The color of the beads, fabric, etc. all blend so well and yet each swirl stands by itself. The wand is brilliant.

Also the camera work is great.

You have made a masterpiece and I too think it should be framed.

Susan...exquisite! Beautiful. I love the detailing, the color, the different beads I love the fabric and the whimsy and the order. I love the pictures and the poem. I love the fact that one of your labels for this piece is "happiness". And maybe that's what I love most of all
