It worked!
And I'm thrilled.
The photographs make me appear a bit blurry but that's only because I had to take the picture at an angle; otherwise, the mirror would be reflecting me and my camera!
When you look at the image dead-on, it is a really nice transparent facsimile of the original.
I did as the instructions said...used my finger to burnish the transfer paper and then waited an hour for it to cure before removing the paper backing.
I'm glad I printed out the pictures in varying levels of opacity. I ended up using the darkest one (80%) because the lightest one (50%) was too light.
Overall I am really excited about this product and all the possiblities for using my own rub-on transfers.
Now, I'm off to frame the mirror...though I'm a bit busy behind the scenes with Christmas present making and getting ready for Round 2 of the Hari-kuyo Needlebook class which will start on November 12. More information to come on that next week...
