Happy Monday everyone!
I know not everyone will be able to attend our East Coast Adventure in Crazy Quilting in April...
So I wanted to show you the mailing that was sent out last week to all the attendees. We had such fun putting it all together.
In fact, as part of the mailing, our generous hostess Maureen Greeson and her talented friend Shirlee Fassell crazy pieced over 60 nametags to include for everyone coming! Can you believe that??
And, having had the opportunity to fondle each one, they were all amazing.
I was touched by the great care that went into selecting the fabrics and trims....
Each one was unique...
As you can see, Maureen has a wonderful selection of vintage trims and laces. And she had the wisdom to order magnetic-backed holders to hold each nametag so there's no additional finishing required.
I was responsible for the folder...
And found myself reflecting on each name and person as I assembled each piece, attached their nametag, and addressed their envelope.
I began to anticipate meeting this talented group of ladies and wondering what unique characteristics each would bring to the Adventure.
To say I'm excited is an understatement. In fact, I'm considering handing out paper bags in case there are any other hyper-ventilators in the crowd like me!
In case you don't want to miss out, a couple of spaces have opened up. There is one opening in each of the Sharon Boggon workshops...you can get the information here. And one opening in the Adventure itself...information here.
And if you still can't come, I'll try to share as much as I can here.
Until next time...Happy Stitches.
Looks like so much fun! Those name tags are fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish the Debbie on that beautiful name tag was me!
ReplyDeleteWhere are my ruby slippers when I need them? Fairy Godmother, you are needed. Dr. Bombay, come right away!

What a BEAUTIFUL job you ladies did in putting these packets together - I am doing the happy dance knowing that I am one of the lucky few who will be attending. I am so thrilled that I will finally get to meet you and all the other talented ladies in April. Thank you for all you are doing to make this such a wonderful event.
