Sunflowers seem so far away now...
So, in honor of our work on the Cozies yesterday, I made them seasonal updates for their hats. I had used a snap to put the sunflower on the hats back in September so all the gals have to do is snap off the sunflower and snap on the poinsettia.
I didn't have time to sew the petals this time so I used the fabric flowers at the craft store...steamed them into shape, beaded the centers and sewed on a felt backing with a snap...and Voila!
Just a few more to finish before I can drop them off.
A little side trip I'm taking nine days before Christmas.
Side Trips...that could be the title for my autobiography...
O Susan, they are wonderful! And, again, your photography makes me think I can reach out and touch them. I hope your friends appreciate all the beautiful things you make/do with them. If not...you have my number!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays!
Susan you are brilliant to use a snap so flowers are interchangeable. I love you beaded center for the poinsettia. Happy Holly Jolly Joy to you...
