In the meantime, I'm heading off today to our Annual Crazy Quilter's Christmas luncheon at my friend Maureen's house.
Oh boy, she is such a good cook and does a lovely job of making each guest feel special and spoiled.
As part of our luncheon, we each make an ornament, wrap them in plain paper and then choose one...you never know whose ornament you will be taking home to your tree.
With all those Audrey scraps lying around, I figured our New York darling needed to have ice skates for Rockefeller Center.
The pattern inspiration came directly from Alicia Paulson at Rosy Little Things.
The minute I saw this skate, I knew I wanted to make a crazy quilt version. Plus, Audrey needed new skates!

OMG... the ice skate has to be the most beautiful Christmas ornament I have ever seen in my life! It brings back a ton of memories, partly because it's a skate and partly because of the way you've embellished it. Way to go Ms. Elf!!! Hugs, Robin A.
