My favorite moment from the Superbowl...
The city is ON FIRE with Excitement and Joy! The entire city has been purple for weeks. Another fave was seeing a 70 year old women doing the Ray Lewis dance.
Just a quick reminder that Harikuyo: The Japanese Festival for Broken Needles is this Friday, February 8. Let's have a blog hop on Friday where we all share our special ways of honoring our fallen needles. I'll set up Mr. Linky on Friday's post so we can go visit one another...so consider posting about your broken needles, your needlebooks or anything else honoring your needles this Friday!
See you again tomorrow after we've come down a bit from this post-game HIGH!

Agreed. It was awesome....the game, Flacco and the confetti angel! Could have done without the power outage.
Laura was home this weekend and we watched the end of the game together. We both loved the confetti angel too and commented together- "Bet Susan is loving this!!" Linda H
My kids got a kick out of the players making angels in the confetti! It really was the best part of the game!
I loved the confetti angel...sheer joy !! The holidays got in the way of finishing my needle book, but it's in the queue of handwork to be finished. I'm looking forward to Friday's stories. Thanks for the reminder !
Congratulations...your team won. I look forward to seeing everyone's needlework.....
One team wins and one team loses. I live in 49er country so it is sad here. I enjoyed the game and the confetti angel was the best! My fav commercials were Jeep and Dodge honoring our military and farmers. Friday will be fun to share the festival...
Susan I do not know about this broken needle festival, it makes me feel bad as I always throw away my broken needles, shouldn`t I?
Congrats to the Ravens! You deserved it. The better team won! Maybe my Lions were taking notes... Loved the snow angels. Can't wait for next season!
Someone was really happy there! Congratulations - hope you don't come down from the high too soon...
