I have a river birch in my yard. I have never once thought about taking a photo and arriving at a color scheme from it. Your mind, would be a terrible thing to waste!

Perfect. What a grand idea to take your color scheme directly from an item in nature. Love the photos and the little inkling your shared about how your mind works... love it! Thank you.
Now I'm thinking about a Lavender afghan I'm designing [and struggeling with]. Thanks to you, I will go look very closely at some actual Lavender and take inspiration directly from the plant. Thank you, thank you!

Did you use a colour-extractor to get those "rounds" of colour?
I have a whole list if you use them....if it was, it looks like a good one but none of the ones I know show the colours in rounds like that...
