Today, I'm following the sun...

I don't think there's anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower. For me that's because of the reason behind its name.

Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun.

During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky.

A satellite dish for sunshine.

Wherever light is, no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. And that's such an admirable thing.

And such a lesson in life.
[Said by Chris, the main character in the movie Calendar Girls.]

These little sunflowers were made for a very special purpose. I can't tell you about it right now because we have to leave.

I'll tell you all about it later. It's going to be Glorious!

They are already glorious but I'll bet they are even more so by the time you have finished with them. I can't wait to see what you are going to do with them.

I agree - there is something hugely uplifting about sunflowers.

I'm now consumed with curiosity about what you will do with yours. . .

Lovely!! I adore the new header... it breathes fall, but the warm kind.
When we visited my In-Laws last summer vacation we saw fields and fields of sunflowers. Such a magnificent sight. I can see how you have fallen in love with them.
Good luck on your new project.

You are a tease Susan - but such fun!

Your little sunflowers are beautiful - as are the real things. I used to holiday with an Aunt in France when we were young and behind her house was field upon field of swaying sunflowers - magical !

Can't wait to see what these are for :0)
