Pretty Planning

I was supposed to be cleaning up my workspace.

But I got distracted by an article in Somerset Life.

It was about Prett-ifying your planner.

And so I did that instead.

A lot of the mess I was supposed to clean up ended up on the planner.

I think I'll do a study to see if having a pretty planner helps me be more organized.

So far today, the answer is "no".

I'll skip on this project...and are you REALLY going to a Jane Nicholas stumpwork workshop or did you just write that in your planner to make me soooooooo jealous...... Gerry K.

I dont think I could keep myself that organised. If you are going to a Jane Nicholas workshop, does that mean you will have lots of super blogs for us? Hope so, I am really jealous.

who cares if you get organized? As long as your workspace allows you to carry out such fun projects... (and maybe you have the only key to the room...)!

Gosh Susan,

You make me smile! I just posted on yesterday's too, and caught this new entry. I am so happy for you about J.N. What a treat! :)

ps. Will you get to take pictures of the workshop? Can't wait to see them if you do. You are so good at portraits and capturing the spirit of a person.

I am sitting here shaking my head.

I have a planner, but its leather, has several sections and it zips closed, which I need to keep all the crap I stuff in it secure. Its my bible. Could not keep track of which road my car should be on with out it.

Yours is gorgeous. If it was mine, it would be sitting out for me to see how pretty it is, and I'd have to SAVE it with all my special things that I am saving for something special.

You are just right, not too much and just enough!!
Hearts to you!
xx, Carol

Sometimes I think the best creativity comes about among the mess...that is where you find just the right thing that you had forgotten you had.
Love your planner mine is a mess with crossings out and re-writings.:)

This is one of those posts that simply makes me smile. I can so relate to setting to do one task and getting completely distracted by something I'd rather be doing.

Your planner is so pretty, so you :-)

I wondered what made the others think you were doing a Jane Nicholas workshop, so looked again at the pictures. Jane, work, 10-4.30. Nicholas, shop, stumpwork. The penny finally dropped. Sometimes I really worry about my tiny brain!

I am so jealous but can't wait to read all about it.

At least you'll look good while being unorganized - sometimes the key is to look like we are something we actually are no - you know, like camouflage!

OK THis is a planner that I think I Would ACTUALLY USE!!!!!! What kind of planner is it? I need a new one and (have to learn how to use it)!! I adore the mushrooms peeking out of the corner!! Adorable!!! I usually get as far as cleaning a space big enough for a project and then quit with the cleaning and organizing!!!!

Nothing brings on inspiration as much as something that needs cleaning! That's why, some days, my house is a mess!!!

This is great! I'm a weirdo when it comes to planners. I never like the ones you buy that are pre-printed with days and weeks and all, so I end up buying empty notebooks and draw everything in the way my brain prefers to see things. Mine usually end up with doodles and lists. I may start adding pretty pictures now too. :)
