Ohhhhh,my! what sweet little faces and so full of concentration. I wonder if either would like to come spend the summer with me. I hope I get some little girls one of these days.
What a lovely sight for older embroiderers! I despair of young women these days...they don't even know how to darn their husband's (excuse me, PARTNER'S) socks!!! I haven't got any children, but my only niece (who is now 40-something) has been stitching for many years and is encouraging her two daughters to follow in her footsteps.
Oh boy, we had the same kind of weekend. My condo assoc turned off the ac in my bldg and we haven't had air for a week. They say it will take 3 days for the bldg to cool down after its turned on. I hope they rot in hell.
It's always a happy day when I see that you've stopped by and left a note. Thanks for taking the time to send me your beautiful thoughts. I try to comment back when life isn't too hectic and when Blogger has your email.

Well despite the heat it looks at though everyone was having a great time.
ReplyDeleteFocus and wonderment in those young faces. Imagine what will grow from the seeds that were planted this day...beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou were doing the Lord's work that day!!!
