An Embroiderer's Table

Old Ellicott City is a quaint mill town near where I live that has many wonderful antique stores. I found this **treasure** at one of my favorite haunts.

It is an embroiderer's table! I have never seen one in my life.

The wide legs allow you to sit in any chair and pull it in front of you to rest your work and tools upon. The lip on the front of the table keeps spools of thread from rolling off.

I intend to find a furniture maker who can re-create this beauty. I already have someone in mind who could do the painting...

I've never heard of an embroiderers table either. Its a great idea though. Maybe it will become a trend.

It's always a happy day when I see that you've stopped by and left a note. Thanks for taking the time to send me your beautiful thoughts. I try to comment back when life isn't too hectic and when Blogger has your email.

Have a wonder-filled life!
