  3. I have a river birch in my yard. I have never once thought about taking a photo and arriving at a color scheme from it. Your mind, would be a terrible thing to waste!

  4. That bark is gorgeous, what a beautiful tree. I love that you made a color palate from it and the yarns look luscious to work with.

  8. Perfect. What a grand idea to take your color scheme directly from an item in nature. Love the photos and the little inkling your shared about how your mind works... love it! Thank you.
Now I'm thinking about a Lavender afghan I'm designing [and struggeling with]. Thanks to you, I will go look very closely at some actual Lavender and take inspiration directly from the plant. Thank you, thank you!

I have a post on Sunday about trees and the creative process. I think we are in sync on this topic.

  10. Did you use a colour-extractor to get those "rounds" of colour?
I have a whole list if you use them....if it was, it looks like a good one but none of the ones I know show the colours in rounds like that...

It's always a happy day when I see that you've stopped by and left a note. Thanks for taking the time to send me your beautiful thoughts. I try to comment back when life isn't too hectic and when Blogger has your email.

Have a wonder-filled life!
