Playing with Paper

Today I've been working on my Christmas cards.

I like to make each one and send them off as a little gift to those I don't see very often. Believe me, there are plenty of my friends that think I'm absolutely nuts to spend all of this time making each individual card.

That's OK.

They're the same friends that think I'm nuts for stitching Japanese embroidery, knitting a blanket, etc. It's just what I love to do...

Many thanks to Amy Powers of Inspire Company. I got the idea for the Christmas tree from her free magazine she publishes twice monthly online. I have really enjoyed each and every one she has "published". Check it out.

  4. Beautiful cards! Who in this world thinks it's stupid to make cards like this???? I can not imagine it! I think everyone I know would at least appreciate the specialness of them. The tree in the inside is precious! Thanks for the links to Inspire (I hadn't heard of this one)!

  8. Jack probably wouldn't want to hear this but he is a cutie. I think your cards are great.

Must tell you that I saw your book club novel "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" and while at the library last week saw it on the shelf. I so thoroughly enjoyed this and when I looked up the author was sorry to see that she passed away in Feb. of this year. Makes me think I should belong to a book club. I am a voracious reader but never belonged to a club. Our library here in IL. has a book lover's luncheon once a year and I go to that if I am here and enjoy all the comments from other readers about authors that may be new to me.

    Have a great Christmas.

    Hugs

It's always a happy day when I see that you've stopped by and left a note. Thanks for taking the time to send me your beautiful thoughts. I try to comment back when life isn't too hectic and when Blogger has your email.

Have a wonder-filled life!
