So far away...
But I'm still back there working on my January CQJP. I have just laid down a foundation of basic seams before I will begin adding one or two big motifs. It's a good start for this block that's all about reflection and January.
I'm ever optimistic that I can finish January AND February by the end of February...we get an extra day this month so it could happen.
I'm taking Audrey on a bus to New York City today to find a ribbon so that I might extend my block a little bit for framing. My plan is to take pics of my choices and share with you all. More on my NYC trip tomorrow...
And thank you! I am thrilled at the response to my E-course offering for the Hari-kuyo Needlebook!
At this point, all kits are sold out. If you still have an interest, you may want to take the course using your own supplies. There are quite a number of participants who have chosen that option so they'll be lots of discussion of alternative book construction ideas! Class starts next Wednesday, February 22 so there's still plenty of time to enroll.
Happy Thursday everyone. I'm off to the Big Apple...
Enjoy your day in New York.
ReplyDeleteI love the delicacy the stitching and trims on your January CQJP.
Can't wait for the E-course to start!! :)
I was so distracted by looking at the new header and reading about the needlebook class, I almost forgot to comment on the January block! Beautiful seams you are starting here. Taking Audrey on a trip.....You better make sure the bag you carry her in, is secure. Looking forward to seeing the frames you choose from.

Enjoy your trip - I hope Audrey is suitably decisive about the mount and frame or she could prove rather exasperating...
ReplyDeleteI wish I could just hop off to the Big Apple! The January block is intriguing, as I love the color palette. Happy Hunting! Laurel
