7 days 'til Christmas

Santa's Belly Buttons...

350 degrees for 3 minutes...

Quick and easy...sweet and salty...

And Jack loves to make them as much as he likes to eat them.

Off to sew...one week to go!

  1. What a great recipe. I've relegated cookie making to my daughter this year, but I'm going to try these.

Sometimes my green grocer carries kisses (in Australia) must look for some. Great boys cooking. Thanks

  4. Hi Susan, I'm counting down the days to see your Alice in Wonderland Quilt. Do you think it will be at the Long Beach TNNA in January? Ever hopeful. Great posting, as usual. Holiday Hugs to you. Robin

  7. I never knew the name for these. I got the ingredients yesterday for these and a few other sweets. I thought it would be a fun thing for Corey and his girlfriend to do so I delegated the task to them. They happily agreed!
    Merry Christmas!!

  8. We tried these for the first time last year but I already forgot about them. Thank you for the reminder. They're very tasty and ours didn't have a name. Now they do!

  9. Okay, I may be a bit thick here but I'm going to ask anyway - do you put the kiss on the pretzel, melt it in the oven for the three minutes and then add the M&M? It sure is cute!!

  10. I make a similar recipe, but it uses pretzels, Rolo candies (chocolate covered caramels), and pecans (I roast mine first). Place Rolo on top of pretzel, bake in oven 3-5 minutes until Rolos are soft, press pecan on top. They taste like pecan turtles, but they are so much simpler to make!

  13. I discovered your blog and several others recently. I quilted for years, then started crazy quilting. About 5 years ago we started losing dear family members, then last year my mother started dialysis. Geeeeez, sounds like a soap opera. Anyway, seems like I lost my creative drive for awhile, but your blog and several others have brought it back to me. Thanks for saving my samity. Okay, the main purpose of this lengthy saga is - what books do you recommend for beginning beaders. I have done simple beading on my cq projects, but am awed by your bead journal projects. Especially the sailor's valentine for your mother. What could you recommend. Linda in Missouri
