I love straight pins that are unique and special. I enjoy using them to hold papers together, to hold fabrics together, to wear on my lapel or to stick them in my pin cushion to brighten my day.
Yesterday, I had the most wonderful surprise in the mail...
I found an Etsy shop called Pinks and Needles which sells hand-crafted straight pins with toppers like cupcakes, purses, mushrooms, birds, etc. I bought them to give as special gifts for my stitching friends' pincushions...Aren't they wonderful??
And, speaking of pin cushions...I have also fallen in love with a number of Etsy sellers who have provided me with pin cushion happiness. Check out these beautiful works of pin cushion art...
