A Special Sewing Day

This is my friend Marie holding the purse we made yesterday. She is giving it to her daughter for her fortieth birthday. Marie came over loaded with beautiful choices in fabrics and trims and a ladies' lunch for two! She even brought cookies for my son...she knows how to manage a wild animal caged for a day so his mother can sew!

We had a treat-of-an-afternoon together! It really is a lot of fun to have a sewing partner, someone to chat with, do a bit of ironing and cheering you through the tough parts.

I think they both look great! Thanks, Marie!

It's always a happy day when I see that you've stopped by and left a note. Thanks for taking the time to send me your beautiful thoughts. I try to comment back when life isn't too hectic and when Blogger has your email.

Have a wonder-filled life!
